Louisa's POV
Katja and Jackie were still bickering, thought they weren't serious about it, Kephry, Masamune and Danny had somehow fallen asleep, Jas, Carter and Stacy were playing a game, Gildarts and Frankie were having a bro talk of some kind, Ellie was sleeping against my back and Jacky, both of them giggling about the good old days and Jake was calmly driving the car.
I was so happy to see everyone was doing okay. Everyone was smiling as they sat in the jeep and though it was a bit of a squeeze, it still felt cozy. And to think, soon, we'll have one more to add to the party.
At the though of my baby, I placed my hand on my stomach. I really can't believe that in a few more months, I'm going to become a mother and even sooner then that, I'm going to become a wife. When I think about it, it gets me all tingly with nerves and I just can't wait to feel what it's like to be called "Mammy" or hear my child crying for the first time.
"Excited?"
I turned my head towards my Fiance and nodded, turning my head back to my stomach.
"The wedding is all set, we just need to pick a date now and in a few months later, you and me will be parents. It's going to make me feel so old being called 'Mammy'." I giggled.
Jacky chuckled to.
"Yeah, I'll feel like a fossil when the kid starts yelling at me that I'm a 'grumpy old Daddy'." He smiled.
"If he'll be anything like me, he will tease the life out of you and me." I stated.
"What made you think it was a he? We haven't had the ultra-sound yet to even see what gender she is." Jacky stated.
"Just a mother's instinct, that's all. And when he is born, I want to name him Inuyasha or Luffy." I added.
The man I love laughed at the idea.
"Trust me, Louisa, it's going to be a she and we will name her Maka or Rukia." He teased.
"Whatever his name is, he's going to be a amazing kid with a kind heart." I stated.
"And a strong mind to go with it." Jacky added.
"And he'll get to be anything he wants. For him the sky's the limit." I added.
"I just want her to be healthy and happy when she arrives." Jacky stated.
"And as his or her parents, it'll be our job to make sure that wish comes true." I finished.
We smiled at each other and leaned in with a kiss when...
Everything went nuts.
"HOLY SHIT!" Jake screamed as he turned the wheel quickly.
Everyone's smiling faces soon turned to fear and confusion when the car skidded. Everyone, even those who had been asleep woke up to scream. I turned my head to the window to see a car was going to ram us. Instinctively I wrapped my arms around Jacky and Ellie and...
Everything went black.
A few hours later, Jacky's POV
"Son?"
I groaned at the sound of the voice.
"Jacky, sweet-heart, wake up."
I groaned again and opened my eyes, shocked to see that the lights in the car were so bright. Were they always this bright?
"Why are the car lights so bright?" I groaned, willing my arm to move so I could cover my eyes, but it didn't.
"Jacky, you're in the hospital, there was an accident." I turned my head to the voice and was shocked to see my mother and Stephan there.
"Mom? Bro? What's going on, how long as I out?" I turned my head to see my right arm was in a cast and strapped to my hospital bed.
Then the words she said registered in my head and I remembered everything.
The chatting about our child, the almost kiss, the curse my dad made, the flashing lights. I looked around the room frantically, but I didn't see any one else there; Just me, my brother and mother were there.
"Where is everyone? Where's Louisa and Ellie?!" I yelled, panic beginning to take hold of me as I struggled a bit.
"Big Bro, calm down, Ellie and Louisa are in a different room, no one died." Stephan interrupted my panic with his voice, but it didn't make it die down.
"What condition are they in? I need to know right now!" I yelled.
My mother hushed me and that was when a doctor arrived. He had black hair and blue eyes. I read his name tag: Dr Banner. Funny, he looked like Professor Banner from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, to.
"I see you're awake now." He stated.
"How long was I asleep?" I asked, forcing myself to keep my voice even and calm.
"1 day and a half. We were worried you had fallen comatose for a bit." He stated.
"What happened to my friends and family? Where's my sister and fiance?" I asked, actually demanded, to know.
"Fiance?" Dr Banner raised his eye brow.
"The pregnant woman with the blonde hair and blue eyes! She was wearing a green pendant that looked like a arrow head! Her name is Louisa Kanbara." I described her.
Banner nodded his head and read over the board thing he had in his hand.
"Katja and Jackie had only minor injuries, such as cuts and bruises. Jackie might have a slight concussion, but that was the worst of their injuries." Banner begin.
Both my mother and I sighed in relief at the news.
"Masamune has a fractured left wrist, Kephry has 3 broken fingers and Danny has a fractured ankle. Other then those injuries, they were surprisingly fine." Banner continued.
Again, we sighed in relief.
"Jas, Carter and Stacy all have a impaled arm and a broken limb, Jas a broken right arm, Carter a broken left leg and Stacy a broken right leg. You, Gildarts and Frankie had large shards of glass in their left arms, but they were removed with surgery and there is luckily no permanent damage done to either of you." Banner went on.
This time, only my mother and little brother sighed in relief, since I felt like the worst was yet to come.
"What about my father and little sister? What about Louisa?!" I growled slightly.
"Calm down, Jacky, they're fine." Banner interrupted me.
"What do you mean by fine?" I growled.
"Jacky, calm down." Mom scolded.
I growled but did as I was told.
"Your sister's left wrist is broken and your father's left leg cracked. They are both fine, though, so you don't need to worry about them. Surprisingly, your fiance only had a fractured rib and didn't punch any vital organs, it was as if something had kept her from being injured too badly. Their is a 24% chance she could go blind, but I highly doubt that right now. You don't have to worry, she's in the best of care." Banner smiled slightly.
Only then, when I was about to sigh in relief, did I finally notice something.
"And the baby?" I asked.
Banner seemed to tense suddenly, as if he was hopping to avoid this.
"Dr Banner, what happened to my unborn gran child?" Mom demanded, glaring slightly.
Banner sighed and when he told us what happened, I went completely numb.
Louisa's POV
I was in a field of rolling multi-colored grass and gorgeous green flowers. The sky above me was stunning, it looked like milk and had blue clouds here and there. Everything was colored differently, but it was as breath taking as the real world.
How did I know this wasn't real?
Because my mother was standing in front of me, angel wings on her back. And I'm not talking about Mrs. K or Mrs. L, but my real mother, Lisa Salmon. Same purple hair and dress, same bracelets me and Rhys bought her for her birthday. But it was my mother, it was really my mother.
"Mam?" I called out.
She turned to me and smiled softly, as if about to say 'hello again, sweetheart' or something else like that.
"Hello, cherub." Mam smiled.
"It is you!" I cheered and ran over to her, sobbing into her dress like a tiny child would.
Mam softly rubbed my back, it made me feel safe and loved, something that Jacky and Monodramon had only ever made me feel before.
Suddenly, the sound of someone crying cut through the silence and I turned around.
Behind me were 2 children, a boy and a girl. The boy had orange-ish hair and light green eyes while the girl had red hair and blue eyes. The boy was wearing a green shirt, blue socks, red trainers and white shorts and the girl was wearing a white shirt, red socks, blue trainers and green shorts. While the boy cried, the girl comforted him.
I ran over to the children, who couldn't be any older then 4 or 5 and held them close to me. I hummed the same lullaby that Mam would hum to me as I gently rocked my body back and forth, cradling the two who appeared to be siblings.
Then, the boy looked at me, giggled and latch onto my shirt, the girl coping him exactly.
"Mama!" They cheered and giggled together.
I smiled softly and continued rocking them. I saw feathers appearing on either side of my being and turned my head to see a man standing behind me. He had white, spiky hair like Soul from Soul Eater and brown eyes like Riza Hawkeye's from Fullmetal Alchemist (:Brotherhood). He was wearing a white suit and a red rose was in the pocket of his suit. I've never scene him before.
"Who are you?" I called.
The man looked at me and smiled warmly.
"My name is Adrian, Louisa. Your mother has told me a lot about you and your brother, Rhys." He chuckled.
"I guessed that she would." I chuckled back.
Mam came over to me and Adrian and before I knew it, they were standing in front of me, taking the two children from my arms and into their own. I stared at them in confusion, but they just smiled.
"We'll give them a good home in heaven." Mam called.
I gasped and stood to my feet, watching as my mother and that man walked away, the two children sleeping in their arms.
"Wait! Mam, wait, I want to go to!" I screamed and ran after her.
I reached out to them as I ran, but they just kept getting further and further away from me.
"Mam, wait! WAIT! MAMMY DON'T GO! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME AGAIN! Mammy... MAMMY!" I screamed as I ran, but was eventually swallowed up by darkness, taking me away from that place. And as I blacked out, my mother's voice told me:
"You aren't suppose to die, yet, sweetheart. Please, be strong my little cherub."
And with that, my lights were out.
Amy's POV
After I heard the news about the child, I helped both my sons find their other friends and we all went to see Louisa. Jacky, me, Ellie, Jake and Stephan were the only ones allowed in since we were family. Louisa was still sleeping, but she was crying. Jacky was instantly at her side, gently placing his hand on her face and whipping the tears away. She stirred and opened her eyes, a look of confusion on her face.
"Jacky? Is that really you?" She questioned.
"Yeah, it's me, Loui." He said with a soft smile.
"Hey, we're here to, ya know." My only daughter huffed as she folded her arms.
Louisa turned her head and gasped at the state they were in and finally seemed to notice her own injuries and those of her fiance's.
"What happened?" She gasped.
"It was the car accident, Lou. Don't worry, we're all okay now, no one else got hurt too badly." Jake lied.
Stephan kicked his injured leg, lightly, making him yelp in pain.
"What Dad means is everyone got hurt, it was a car accident after all, but they're all fine now. Everyone who needed it has been through surgery and had all their cuts and bruises tended to, so everyone is happy, healthy and safe." He explained.
Louisa nodded and sighed, but then gasped and tried to pull herself up.
"And the baby? Jacky, what happened to our baby?!" She panicked slightly.
A guilty expression appeared on his face as he though of how to word it, while all of us became uncomfortable and started shifting. Louisa watched us and her eyes slowly widened in fear.
"They're... they're dead, aren't they? We... we were going to have twins but the accident it... it killed them, didn't it?" She questioned.
Everyone grew even guiltier and that was all she needed for an answer. Louisa's blue eyes filled with crystal tears that streamed down her face and none of us could help it. Everyone began to cry a little.
Ellie and Stephan took a seat each and hugged each other, crying in each other's shoulder and hair. Jacky moved to hug her and let his tears leave his chin and fall on Louisa's head. I turned to Jake and held on of his arms, hidding my eyes in it while he hug his head and covered his eyes with his other hand.
"I'm so sorry, Jacky." Louisa whimpered.
"It's not your fault, Loui." Jacky insisted.
"I saw my mother and a man taking them up to heaven with angel wings on their back. Oh, Jacky, we were going to have a little boy and girl running around the house, both of them were absolutely beautiful." She cried.
"They got it from you, Lou." He teared.
"And you, to." The blonde added.
"Oh, Louisa." The brunette trailed off.
He kissed her teary lips and the rest of us decided to leave and give the two their privacy. Plus, I didn't want Stephan or Ellie to see something happening.
"How'd she take it?" Frankie asked once we arrived in the waiting room with the rest of them.
"She cried and said she saw angels taking them away to heaven." Ellie said, softly.
"I can't even imagine what she's going through right now." Jackie sympathized.
All of Jacky's friends and cousins nodded in agreement and we decided to wait right there for them, even if it would take all night.
